Barça Come Back to Beat Celta Vigo, Maintain Lead Over Real Madrid

Barcelona fought back from a 3-1 deficit to beat Celta Vigo 4-3 in La Liga, thanks to a stoppage-time penalty by Raphinha that extended their lead over Real Madrid.

The match began with Ferran Torres scoring for Barça in the 12th minute, but Borja Iglesias equalized just three minutes later. Spanish forward Iglesias then scored two more goals in the second half to give Celta Vigo a 3-2 lead before Dani Olmo and Raphinha drew level at 3-3 with their respective goals. Raphinha then scored the winning penalty in the 98th minute to secure the 4-3 victory.

“We wanted to win this game but weren’t always at our best,” said Barça’s Dani Olmo, “The team came through in the end and the crowd pushed us on right to the finish.” The win puts Barcelona seven points ahead of Real Madrid.
