La Liga leaders Barcelona mounted an incredible comeback to beat Celta Vigo 4-3 in a thrilling stoppage-time match.
In the 62nd minute, Celta Vigo took the lead after Borja Iglesias’ hat-trick wiped out Ferran Torres’ early finish. However, Barcelona refused to give up and regrouped for the second half.
Barcelona scored two goals in just four minutes through Dani Olmo and Raphinha, leveling the score at 3-3. Just as it seemed Celta Vigo was going to hold on for a point, VAR intervened after a foul was spotted on Dani Olmo inside the area. Raphinha then stepped up to score a penalty in the 88th minute, securing Barcelona’s dramatic comeback win.
The victory not only kept Barcelona top of La Liga but also narrowed the gap between them and second-placed Real Madrid to seven points.
