Electronic Arts (EA) is reportedly set to host a three-day event at the end of July to unveil its highly anticipated game, Battlefield 6. According to multiple sources, including content creator Doom49 and rivaLxfactor, the event will feature a live reveal of the game, followed by a live round in gameplay.
The news comes as EA has pulled out of Gamescom 2025, with their PR agency confirming that they are instead hosting their own event. Datamined leaks suggest that this event may include a public open beta, potentially on July 29.
Battlefield 6 has been in development for several years, with four studios contributing to the project: DICE, Motive Studios, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect Studios. The game is expected to reach a milestone of 100 million players, surpassing the franchise record, and comes with a reportedly $400 million budget.
EA will need to ensure that Battlefield 6 meets player expectations after previous titles in the series, including Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield V. Although an official release date has not been confirmed, it is expected to occur before the end of April 2026, within EA’s fiscal year.
