Baylor Scheierman Leads Celtics to Thrilling Win

The Boston Celtics needed a spark to ignite their offense on Tuesday night, and they found it in rookie Baylor Scheierman. Without stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Scheierman stepped up his game, going 6-for-7 from three-point range.

Scheierman’s performance was clutch, including a buzzer-beating three-pointer to put the Celtics ahead at the end of the third quarter. He followed that up with back-to-back threes in the fourth quarter, securing an 84-80 lead for Boston. The Celtics never looked back, cruising to a 104-96 win.

Coach Joe Mazzulla praised Scheierman’s effort, saying “it’s the moments you get. You’ve got to deliver.” The rookie’s impressive performance tied the second-most three-point makes in a game by a Celtics rookie. Scheierman finished with 20 points, six threes, and 18 free throws made, cementing his place as a key contributor for the Celtics.
