Bears Practice Despite Weather Cancelations

The Chicago Bears held their fourth day of training camp practice, despite inclement weather forcing the cancellation of a public viewing at Halas Hall. Coach Ben Johnson praised the offense for a decent outing, with quarterback Caleb Williams performing well in the two-minute drill. Rookie tight end Colston Loveland made his debut and caught multiple passes during team drills. The team continues to work on new system installs, having completed four out of 12 planned sessions so far.

Despite struggles in their previous red zone practice, Johnson emphasized the importance of learning from mistakes and moving forward. He noted that players must recognize when coverage is too tight and adjust accordingly. With injuries to Darnell Wright and Luther Burden III, backups Theo Benedet and Braxton Jones saw significant playing time. The team remains focused on acclimating to their new system and executing at a high level as training camp continues.
