Actor Matt Clark, known for his roles in Western films alongside Hollywood legends like John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, has passed away at the age of 89.
Clark’s death was confirmed by his wife Sharon Mays after he suffered complications following back surgery several months prior to his passing. The exact cause of death is not publicly disclosed.
Born in the 1930s, Clark began his acting career in the mid-1960s and went on to appear in over 50 films and TV shows, including “The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean,” “Jeremiah Johnson,” and “Back to the Future Part III.” He also directed the 1988 film “Da.”
Clark’s family is comprised of four children, all of whom pursued careers in the arts. His son Matthias is a musician, Jason is a producer, Seth is a film editor, and his daughter Aimée is also a producer.
Despite his passing, Clark’s legacy lives on through his extensive body of work and his talented family members who continue to contribute to the entertainment industry.
