Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger believes Aaron Rodgers has yet to sign with his team due to a potential opening in Minnesota. During a recent podcast appearance, Roethlisberger argued that Rodgers may be holding out for the opportunity to join the Vikings.
Roethlisberger cited Rodgers’ recent workouts and publicized throws with DK Metcalf as evidence of his desire to play for another team. The Steelers quarterback suggested that if Rodgers truly believed he would have a better chance at winning a second Super Bowl ring in Minnesota, it’s unlikely he would commit to Pittsburgh just yet.
The delay has been attributed to various factors, including the upcoming Big Night AHT with Pat McAfee on April 9th. However, Roethlisberger believes that the Vikings’ roster and coaching staff may be more attractive to Rodgers than the Steelers’.
With the NFL season approaching, fans are eagerly awaiting news of Rodgers’ destination. Will he ultimately choose Pittsburgh or pursue an opportunity in Minnesota?
