In response to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, a growing list of benefit concerts has been organized across California and the US. These events aim to raise funds and provide emotional support for those affected by the disaster.
Multiple benefit concerts are taking place in January, including “Tunes for Tomorrow” at The Hotel Café on January 14, which features artists like Zen Thomas, Sacha Carlson, and Return to Dust. A musical event organized by Lucas Flood will use the money raised to give to a family that lost everything during the fires.
In Pico Rivera, California, a Saturday concert on January 18 will bring together 15 Latin artists from genres such as banda, norteño, and tambarazo.
The 9th Annual Metal Hall of Fame Gala is also pivoting to a fundraising telethon in Anaheim, featuring an all-star jam and surprise guests. The event aims to raise money for those affected by the L.A. wildfires.
In New York City, three days of benefit concerts are scheduled from January 27-29 at various venues, including Bowery Electric and Heaven Can Wait. Participating artists include Gift, Ginger Winn, and Patton Magee from the Nude Party.
Additionally, two more benefit concerts have been announced: “FireAid” in Inglewood on January 30, featuring an unspecified lineup of high-wattage acts, and “Dilla Day L.A.” on February 8 at Beehive, honoring J. Dilla with a benefit concert for the victims of the Eaton fire.
These events will provide essential support to those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires, and this list is expected to be updated as more benefit concerts are announced.
