Beyoncé’s Epic NFL Halftime Show in Houston

Beyoncé recently performed at the halftime show of an NFL Christmas Gameday on Netflix, a live event known as Beyoncé Bowl. The performance took place in her hometown of Houston, Texas, and featured a unique setlist that included tracks from her record-breaking COWBOY CARTER album.

Beyoncé’s halftime show setlist included songs like “16 CARRIAGES,” “BLACKBIIRD,” “AMERIICAN REQUIEM,” “YA YA,” “SPAGHETTII/RIIVERDANCE,” “LEVII’S JEANS,” “JOLENE,” and the smash hit “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM.” The show also featured a number of special guests, including Post Malone, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, and Tiera Kennedy.

Additionally, Beyoncé paid tribute to Western and Rodeo culture by featuring Mexican Cowgirl Melanie Rivera, bull-riding legend Myrtis Dightman, Jr., Miss Rodeo Texas Princess 2004 Nikki Woodward, and the first Black Rodeo Queen in Arkansas Ja’Dayia Kursh. The show also included a performance by the Texans cheerleaders and a special appearance by Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé’s eldest daughter.

Beyoncé is no stranger to performing at high-profile events like NFL games. In 2013, she headlined Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, joined by fellow Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. This recent performance marks a milestone for the singer, as it features her first live performance of songs from the COWBOY CARTER album.

Viewers who missed the live broadcast can catch the full halftime performance on Netflix later this week.
