Biden Administration Approves $4.75 Billion Grant to Samsung Electronics

The US government has finalized a grant of up to $4.75 billion to South Korean electronics company Samsung Electronics to produce advanced semiconductors domestically. This figure is lower than the previously announced $6.4 billion in April. The grant comes amid reports that Samsung is scaling back its investments in the US, with plans to invest nearly $37 billion in its Texas facilities instead of the original $40 billion.
