Billie Eilish Shakes Up Management Team with New Talent Manager Jason Owen

Billie Eilish has enlisted veteran talent manager Jason Owen, who reps Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini among others. Owen will be managing Finneas, Eilish’s brother and longtime producer, as well. The two had been represented by Danny Rukasin and Brandon Goodman of Best Friends Music Management for over a decade.

Owen is a music executive with roots in country, launching Sandbox Entertainment in 2010 after holding roles at Universal Music Nashville. He has shared in Grammy, Emmy, and Tony wins and is known for his golden touch when managing female artists. Eilish’s team had expressed appreciation for the duo’s work but wished them well in their new venture.

Eilish rose to fame in 2015 with her viral single “Ocean Eyes,” which Finneas co-wrote. She became a Grammy-winning artist after releasing her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? in 2019. The album swept the Grammys in 2020, earning Eilish numerous awards, including record of the year and song of the year.

Since then, Eilish has continued to dominate the music scene, releasing hit albums Happier Than Ever and Hit Me Hard and Soft. Finneas co-wrote and produced most of his sister’s songs, including Grammy-winning hits like “Bad Guy” and “Everything I Wanted.” The siblings have also won two Oscars for their original songs in 2022 and 2024.

Eilish is currently preparing for the European leg of her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour, set to start next month.
