Bills’ Defense Takes Hit from Injuries Ahead of Monday Night Football

The Buffalo Bills are dealing with a string of injuries on their defense, with two more players added to the injured reserve list. Safety Damar Hamlin and rookie defensive tackle T.J. Sanders will both be out for an extended period due to pectoral and knee injuries, respectively.

Coach Sean McDermott expressed uncertainty about the severity of these injuries, saying he feels “a little better” about Sanders’ chances of recovery but that Hamlin’s status is still uncertain. Both players were crucial to the team’s defensive rotation.

Veteran safety Jordan Poyer and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips could fill in for Hamlin and Sanders, respectively. Starting linebacker Matt Milano will also miss Monday night’s game with a reaggravated pectoral injury.

Meanwhile, wideout Curtis Samuel (neck/ribs) and tight end Dalton Kincaid (oblique) are listed as questionable for the game, which could impact the team’s offense.
