Biograph, a new longevity-focused startup co-founded by Dr. Peter Attia, has emerged from stealth mode in Silicon Valley. The company boasts an impressive list of investors, including Elon Musk’s biggest backer John Hering and prominent venture capital firms like Vy Capital and WndrCo.
Biograph claims to be the world’s most advanced preventive health and diagnostics clinic, offering a holistic approach to health optimization through data-driven insights. Its members can expect over 1,000 data points across 30+ evaluations to paint a comprehensive picture of their well-being. However, the high-end membership comes with a hefty price tag: $7,500 per year for the Core package and $15,000 for the premium Black package.
The company’s CEO, John Hering, was inspired to co-found Biograph after his friend and Vy Capital partner Alexander Tamas received an early cancer diagnosis. This experience prompted Hering to encourage himself to get checked, leading him to co-found the startup with Dr. Attia.
Biograph reports that over 15% of its members have discovered life-altering health insights through their services. The company has been quietly operating since 2020 and is currently searching for a founding AI engineer to develop an AI-powered assistant.
As part of a growing trend in longevity-focused startups, Biograph joins other notable companies like Function Health and Retro Biosciences, which are raising substantial funding to pursue their life-extending ambitions. With its impressive lineup of investors and cutting-edge technology, Biograph is poised to make a significant impact in the world of preventive health and diagnostics.
