Telangana BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju has commented on the controversy surrounding Allu Arjun’s arrest in connection with a tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre, which resulted in the death of a woman. Raju expressed support for Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s statements about the case, stating that if what Reddy said is true, he agrees with him.
Raju emphasized that the law applies equally to everyone, regardless of their celebrity status, and that justice will be served. However, he also highlighted the need for stricter regulations on benefit shows, citing the risk of stampedes and unsafe crowd gatherings as a major concern. Raju suggested mandatory police approval for such events and even proposed banning them altogether.
The MLA also criticized Allu Arjun for not leaving the scene after the tragedy, emphasizing the importance of accountability in such situations. Raju stressed that celebrities should seek police approval before participating in public events. He voiced concerns about the overwhelming support Allu Arjun received post-arrest, contrasting it with the lack of attention given to the family of the deceased woman.
Raju’s comments come as the controversy surrounding Allu Arjun’s arrest continues to attract attention.
