The Black Eyed Peas have canceled their highly-anticipated residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino’s PH Live, citing “current circumstances.” The news was shared by the band’s members will.i.am, Apl.de.Ap, and Taboo on Instagram Stories.
The residency, titled “Black Eyed Peas: 3008 The Las Vegas Experience,” was set to begin on February 15 with a 15-show run spanning February, March, and May. Ticket holders will receive full refunds automatically.
This cancellation marks the end of an era for the group, which has been performing together since 1995. In 2002, singer Fergie joined the band, leading to hits like “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling.” The Black Eyed Peas have won six Grammy Awards throughout their career, with Fergie departing in 2018.
