BlackRock is requesting to pull some money it invested in a fund with significant exposure to the debt of a bankrupt auto-parts supplier, First Brands Group Inc. The investment firm has been in talks with other investors about partially redeeming their funds, as part of a $3 billion trade-finance portfolio managed by Point Bonita Capital, a unit of Jefferies Financial Group Inc.
