Blake Lively, the star of the upcoming drama “It Ends With Us,” is facing a lawsuit from director Justin Baldoni over allegations of bullying and harassment. According to the lawsuit, Lively tried to ban Baldoni from attending the film’s premiere, forcing him and his team to attend under humiliating conditions.
Baldoni claims that Lively attempted to remove him from creative control of the film, despite being both a star and director. He alleges that she initially refused to allow him to participate in promotional events for the movie. The lawsuit states that Baldoni was only allowed to attend the premiere after “significant pressure,” but even then, he was segregated from the main cast and forced to hold his own separate event.
Baldoni also accuses Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, of using his influence to try to drop him as a client. He claims that both Lively and Reynolds engaged in bullying tactics to “exile” him from the film.
Lively’s attorney has responded to the lawsuit, stating that it does not change the allegations made against Baldoni. The matter is now set for court proceedings, with Baldoni seeking $250 million in damages.
