Blake Lively Expands Lawsuit Against Justin Baldoni, Accuses Him of Sexual Harassment and Retaliation

Actress Blake Lively has added nearly 50 pages to her lawsuit against co-star Justin Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment, retaliation, and defamation. The amended complaint states that additional women who worked on the set of the movie “It Ends With Us” were made uncomfortable by Baldoni’s behavior.

Lively alleges that after she first reported concerns about Baldoni’s behavior in May 2023, another female cast member reported her own concerns to Sony, the film’s distributor. Baldoni responded to this cast member by acknowledging his awareness of her concerns and stating that adjustments would be made.

However, Lively claims that Baldoni and his team orchestrated a smear campaign against her across social media and the tabloids after she filed her initial complaint. The defendants in Lively’s suit include Baldoni, his business associates, production company Wayfarer Studios, and others.

Baldoni has denied Lively’s allegations, accusing her and her husband Ryan Reynolds of seeking to harm his reputation and take over creative control of the film. He is also suing the New York Times for $250 million, alleging that they worked with Lively’s team to print a one-sided narrative about her claims.

The trial in this case has been set for March 2026. Last week, Lively’s lawyers issued subpoenas to Baldoni and his team, seeking phone records from the past two years as part of their investigation into the alleged smear campaign against her. Baldoni’s attorney has objected to these subpoenas, calling them a “massive fishing expedition.”
