Actress Blake Lively has hired Nick Shapiro, the CIA’s former deputy chief of staff, to manage her public image amid an ongoing lawsuit with co-star and director Justin Baldoni. The decision comes as Lively faces allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation from Baldoni.
In December, Lively accused Baldoni of orchestrating a smear campaign against her in 2024, leading The New York Times to publish an article that sparked a legal dispute involving over a dozen individuals and companies. Baldoni has since sued The New York Times for $250 million, while Lively countersued a group claiming they were retaliating against her.
The latest development in the case comes as a federal judge ruled on some of Lively’s requests, including access to call and text logs between Baldoni, his team, and production company employees. However, the judge denied Lively’s request for certain records, deeming them “overly intrusive.”
