Blake Lively & NYT Accused of Colluding in $400M Lawsuit Against Justin Baldoni

Justin Baldoni has accused Blake Lively and the New York Times of colluding for months in a $400 million lawsuit, claiming they conspired to smear him after a dispute over his movie. The director published a 244-page counterclaim on his website, including texts and messages between parties.

Baldoni is seeking $400 million in damages, alleging Lively and her team spread lies and false accusations about him. The lawsuit claims Lively made minute-by-minute changes to the film’s script and character wardrobe, causing disruption to the production crew.

The case began when Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and breach of contract. However, a group meeting was held to address her concerns, including discussions about nudity and personal experiences with sex. The New York Times initially reported on the allegations but now faces claims that they colluded with Lively’s team.

A preliminary hearing for Lively’s request for a gag order is set for February 3, and the cases are consolidated for trial in March 2026. Baldoni’s lawyer claims new evidence has emerged, corroborating his allegations of a smear campaign against him and others involved with the film.
