Blake Lively Sued by Justin Baldioni Over “Game of Thrones” Claims

Blake Lively is at the center of a new lawsuit filed by her co-star Justin Baldioni, alleging sexual harassment and a coordinated plan to destroy his reputation. The suit seeks $400 million in damages and a jury trial.

Baldioni’s lawsuit comes just weeks after Lively accused him of harassment during production of their film “It Ends With Us”, which explores themes of intimate partner violence. The New York Times published a detailed report on her complaint, but Baldioni has since sued the newspaper for $250 million, accusing it of working with Lively’s team to publish a one-sided article.

The drama escalated when Baldioni countersued Lively, and she responded by filing a new lawsuit against him. Her legal team called Baldioni’s suit an “abuser playbook” attempt to turn the tables on her.

The lawsuit includes text messages that claim prove Baldioni’s case, including one allegedly referencing “Game of Thrones”. The messages appear to show an exchange between Baldoni and Lively about the film’s script, with Baldoni expressing appreciation for her work. However, CNN has not independently verified the authenticity of these messages.

The dispute has drawn criticism on social media, with some commenting that if the Khaleesi text is accurate, it suggests Lively may have compared herself unfavorably to Daenerys Targaryen, the character from “Game of Thrones”.
