Blake Lively Sues Justin Baldoni Over ‘Inappropriate’ On-Set Behavior

Actress Blake Lively has accused director and co-star Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment during the filming of their movie “It Ends With Us”. Lively sued Baldoni earlier this month, claiming he made unwanted advances towards her on set.

Baldoni’s team released a series of videos from the slow-dance scene in which Lively objected to his behavior, including an incident where he said, “it smells so good” while leaning forward and nuzzling her neck. However, Baldoni’s team claims that the footage shows both actors behaving professionally and with respect.

Lively’s team disputes this, saying the footage corroborates her account of trying to avoid uncomfortable touching by Lively while on set. They argue that any woman who has experienced unwanted touch in the workplace will recognize Lively’s discomfort.

Baldoni also filed a lawsuit against Lively last week, alleging she was unable to take direction and talked out of character during filming. The incident in question shows Baldoni making reference to Lively smelling good and asking if he’s getting beard on her.

Lively’s team claims the release of the video is an “unethical attempt to manipulate the public” and a “stunt”. They argue that Baldoni improvised the scene without discussion or consent, and shot it without an intimacy coordinator present.
