Bloober’s Cronos: The New Dawn Release Window Announced

Bloober’s next game, Cronos: The New Dawn, has a confirmed release window for this autumn, with the possibility of being released in time for Halloween. The Polish studio, known for its Silent Hill 2 remake, will be releasing the game on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.

The news was accompanied by a new gameplay trailer, showcasing the game’s unique merge mechanic. In Cronos: The New Dawn, enemies can merge with each other to boost their abilities if not properly killed, reminiscent of the Crimson Heads from Resident Evil.

The game is set in a brutalist-inspired environment based on Krakow’s Nowa Huta and features sci-fi themes, drawing inspiration from classic survival horror games like Resident Evil and Dead Space. This will be Bloober’s first original survival horror game, building upon its experience with the Silent Hill series.
