The recall affects dogs fed the product in six states, including Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Tennessee, between January 3 and January 24. If you’ve purchased this dog food during this period, it’s essential to take action.
Consumers are warned not to feed the recalled product to pets or any other animals. Symptoms in humans who come into contact with contaminated pet products include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramping, and fever. Infected pets may exhibit lethargy, diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, fever, vomiting, decreased appetite, and abdominal pain.
