BMW Unveils Fastest Car for MotoGP Riders

BMW has revealed the latest winner’s car in its prestigious BMW M Award, which goes to the top qualifier in MotoGP each season. This year’s award is for the BMW M2 CS, a high-performance sports car that boasts outstanding agility and significantly increased power.

The new M2 CS was introduced at the classic TT Circuit Assen, where drivers Alex Rins and Brad Binder took it for a spin. The car features an inline six-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, delivering 390 kW (530 hp). It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.

To reduce weight, BMW has used lightweight construction techniques, resulting in a 30kg reduction compared to the base model. The car also comes equipped with forged wheels and is the lightest BMW M2 of its generation.

The winner of the 2025 BMW M Award will be presented with the new car at the season finale in mid-November in Valencia, Spain. Past winners include Marc Marquez, Francesco Bagnaia, Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner, Jorge Lorenzo, Fabio Quartararo, and Sete Gibernau.

BMW’s involvement in MotoGP dates back to 1999, and it remains the ‘Official Car of MotoGP’. For more information on BMW M GmbH and its partnership with MotoGP, visit www.bmw-m.com.
