Bob Odenkirk’s Unlikely Hero Returns in Action-Packed ‘Nobody 2’

Bob Odenkirk stars as Hutch, a seemingly ordinary suburban family man with a deadly secret, in the action-packed sequel “Nobody 2.” The film follows Hutch, his brother Harry (RZA), and their father David (Christopher Lloyd), an ex-FBI agent, as they navigate a complex web of debt, violence, and family dynamics.

The movie builds on the success of its predecessor, with a bigger budget and a more elaborate storyline that pays homage to classic “National Lampoon” comedies. The original cast returns, including Connie Nielsen as Mrs. Nobody, while new additions include Sharon Stone as a villainous figure and Colin Hanks as a bad guy.

Odenkirk’s performance shines once again, bringing to life Hutch’s everyman persona with a unique blend of humor and relatability. The action sequences are well-staged and bloody, but may be off-putting for some viewers due to their graphic content.

With its blend of comedy and explosive violence, “Nobody 2” is a must-see for fans of the original film and action enthusiasts alike. Director Timo Tjahjanto brings a fresh perspective to the sequel, ratcheting up the stakes and delivering a thrilling ride.

Rating: Rated R for extreme gun and sword violence. Runtime: 1 hour 29 minutes.
