Linebacker Bobby Wagner is rejoining the Washington Commanders on a one-year contract worth up to $9.5 million. The deal includes $8 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN.
Wagner, a 10-time Pro Bowl selection and former Seattle Seahawks player, played for the Commanders in 2023 after spending two seasons with the Los Angeles Rams. He was named second-team All-Pro in 2024 and recorded a team-high 132 tackles along with two sacks and two fumble recoveries.
Wagner’s return to Washington reunites him with two former coaches from his Seattle days, Dan Quinn and Ken Norton Jr. In his 13-year career, he has tallied 1,838 tackles, 35 sacks, 102 quarterback hits, and 13 interceptions.
