Boosting Windows Performance with Microsoft Tips

Microsoft recently shared some useful tips to boost system performance, especially as support for Windows 10 is ending soon. While most of these tips are general and already known by users, they’re still essential.

Firstly, ensure your OS and device drivers are up-to-date, restart your system regularly, and check for malware and viruses. Additionally, optimize system startup to make your device quicker. Microsoft also highlighted that cloud syncing via OneDrive can slow down your PC, but you can pause it temporarily to improve performance.

Another issue is the visual effects in Windows 11, which use additional system resources and can slow down your PC, especially if you have less memory (RAM). To disable them, open Performance Options by typing “performance” in Windows Search and select “Adjust for best performance.”

Microsoft also suggests using ReadyBoost to utilize a USB or SD card as cache. Managing page file is another way to potentially improve performance.

These tips can help users make their system experience better, especially with the new redesigned OneDrive app. Microsoft’s official support article provides more details on these tips and other ways to boost performance.
