Bowlers of all skill levels came together over two weekends to support a great cause. The “Bowling on the River” Bowl-A-Thon event, organized by Junior Achievement, attracted over 1,000 participants. This annual fundraiser aims to raise funds and promote education for young people.
The event took place at Billy Hardwick’s All Star Lanes, where bowlers had fun competing while giving back to their community. Local journalist Jody Callahan, who has covered news in Memphis for over 25 years, was on hand to support the cause.
This year’s Bowl-A-Thon was a huge success, bringing together people from all walks of life to make a difference in the lives of young learners. By participating in this fun event, bowlers helped raise funds for Junior Achievement, supporting their mission to inspire and educate future generations.
