‘Boy Meets World’ Stars Danielle Fishel and Maitland Ward Have Heated Confrontation on Podcast

A recent episode of the “Pod Meets World” podcast saw hosts and former co-stars Danielle Fishel, Ryder Strong, and Will Friedle engage in a tense conversation with guest Maitland Ward. The discussion started out lighthearted but took an awkward turn when Fishel asked Ward if she hated them.

Ward replied that while she didn’t hate them, she felt they hated her due to their refusal to speak with her on the Disney Channel spin-off show “Girl Meets World.” Ward claimed Fishel and Strong had an attitude towards her and didn’t understand why they wouldn’t be friends.

Fishel admitted that working on “Girl Meets World” was a difficult experience, stating it was a “tumultuous place” where she felt ostracized and criticized. She apologized for any perceived negativity towards Ward, but Ward felt Fishel’s apology was insincere.

The conversation continued with Ward revealing that Fishel had unfriended her on Facebook years ago without responding to a message. Ward also criticized Fishel’s request to apologize directly via their podcast.

As the discussion progressed, the tension escalated, with each side accusing the other of manipulation and disingenuousness. The heated exchange appeared to be fueled by ratings, with Ward claiming she was seeking attention for her memoir about her experiences on “Boy Meets World.”

Representatives for Fishel and Ward declined to comment on the incident.
