A24 has announced its latest feature, “The Riders”, set to be produced by Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, Dede Gardner, and other notable names. Based on Tim Winton’s 1995 Booker Prize-nominated novel of the same name, the film follows a man’s journey with his daughter across Europe in search of their missing wife and mother. David Kajganich is adapting the screenplay.
Production will kick off in early 2026, with shooting planned in multiple European locations. This marks the first collaboration between Pitt and director Edward Berger, who previously worked together on AMC series “The Terror”. Berger’s recent work includes the Vatican-set drama “Conclave” and Netflix mystery “The Ballad of a Small Player”.
Brad Pitt will also be seen next in Apple releases “Wolfs” alongside George Clooney and upcoming Formula One film “F1”.
