Breaking Bad House Hits Market for $4M

The famous house from the hit TV series “Breaking Bad” is up for sale in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for $4 million. The home, which served as Walter White’s residence during the show’s run, has become an iconic symbol of American pop culture.

Joanne Quintana and her siblings grew up in the 1,900-square-foot house, which their parents purchased in 1973. In 2006, filmmakers arrived at their doorstep unannounced, changing their lives forever. The family allowed cameras into their home for filming, which included iconic scenes like the pizza party and the pool scene.

Despite its fame, the family only used the inside of the house for gear and prep, not for actual filming. However, as fans began to arrive in large numbers, security concerns arose. In 2012, the family installed cameras and a fence around their home to deter visitors.

Now, with Joanne’s parents deceased, the family is letting go of the property. The price tag exceeds Zillow estimates of under $350,000, but the family plans to use the sale as an opportunity to preserve the house for fans who want it to be converted into a B&B or museum.
