A recall has been issued for bagged broccoli due to possible listeria contamination. Braga Fresh is advising consumers to discard 12-ounce bags of Marketside Broccoli Florets, which were distributed to Walmart stores in several states, including Ohio and Kentucky.
The affected products are past their “best if used by” date and have a unique UPC code (6-8113132884-5). If you have purchased this item and frozen it for later use, it is recommended that you discard it immediately. The Food and Drug Administration has already removed the product from store shelves, but some consumers may still have it at home.
Consumers in affected states are advised to check their stores for the recalled items and dispose of them if found.
