Broncos QB Bo Nix Visits Drew Brees for Offseason Improvement

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has promised to “do whatever it takes” to improve, and his offseason visit with Drew Brees is just one part of that plan. Brees, the 13-time Pro Bowl selection who led the league in passing yards seven times, spent a week with Nix in San Diego as part of a quest for knowledge about Payton’s offense.

Nix, who started every game of his rookie season in 2024 and finished with 29 touchdowns, sought out Brees’ expertise to improve his skills. The visit was initiated by Nix, who wanted to learn more about the offense and get better at specific mechanics.

Payton described Nix as someone “who works his tail off” and is eager to improve. He dismissed concerns about a potential “sophomore slump” for Nix, pointing out that many one-hit wonders don’t quite live up to their hype in their second year.

With Brees’ guidance, Nix aims to refine his craft during the offseason, setting himself up for success in 2025 and beyond.
