Broncos Sign Evan Engram to Two-Year Deal

The Denver Broncos have signed two-time Pro Bowl tight end Evan Engram to a two-year deal worth $23 million, according to his agent Mike McCarthy. The contract includes $16.5 million in fully guaranteed payments.

Engram, 30, was recently released by the Jacksonville Jaguars, which allowed the team to shed $5.98 million from their salary cap. Engram had previously signed a one-year deal with the Jaguars in March 2022 and set career highs in catches (73) and receiving yards (766) that season.

Engram’s previous stint with the New York Giants saw him draft 23rd overall in 2017 and accumulate 262 receptions for 2,828 yards and 16 touchdowns over five seasons. Despite missing several games last season due to hamstring and shoulder injuries, Engram remains a valuable asset for the Broncos, who had been seeking help at the tight end position.
