Bronx Ambulette Driver Arrested in Connection with 64-Year-Old Victim’s Death

Police have arrested Sharief Bodden, 29, of the Bronx, on charges including murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, in connection to the death of Peter Forrest. The victim was found dead at his home, located at 201 Castle Hill Ave., just before 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Forrest, described as a hard-working man who lived alone, had been driving for Marquis Ambulette, a company based in Nassau County. Neighbors said that Forrest’s body showed signs of being tied up and possibly stabbed.

The investigation is ongoing, with the cause of death not yet determined and no motive known at this time. A representative from Marquis Ambulette has confirmed their cooperation with police on the case.

Authorities have taken Bodden into custody in connection to Forrest’s murder, and he faces charges including murder, manslaughter, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminal possession of a weapon.
