Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders will return to team drills on Day 10 after missing practice due to arm soreness. According to head coach Kevin Stefanski, the soreness was caused by adjusting to the start-and-stop nature of reps during team drills.
Sanders has experienced similar soreness before in college and acknowledged it’s an adjustment his body needed. The Browns have managed the four-quarterback competition by spreading reps around their quarterbacks, cycling through each quarterback for team drills.
QB Dillon Gabriel will be a limited participant in practice due to tightness in his hamstring. Stefanski confirmed that the tightness occurred on August 2 and Gabriel is receiving treatment for the injury.
