Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders is facing multiple speeding tickets after being pulled over by law enforcement twice in the past month.
According to a Medina Municipal Court record, Sanders was issued a citation for driving 91 mph in a 65 mph zone on June 5. However, he failed to appear for an arraignment and now faces $269 in fines and court costs.
On Tuesday morning, Sanders was stopped by Strongsville Police for driving 41 mph over the posted speed limit. He must either pay a $250 fine or fight the ticket in Strongsville Mayor’s Court on July 3.
Sanders is currently fourth on the team’s depth chart behind fellow rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel and veterans Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco. Despite this, he participated in the Browns’ mandatory minicamp last week and remains with his teammates for an upcoming orientation.
