Bruce Springsteen Fires Back at Donald Trump with Live Album Release

President Donald Trump continued his escalating feud with billionaire musician Bruce Springsteen this week, as Springsteen released a live album containing some of his Trump-critical speeches on streaming platforms. The move comes after Trump renewed his social media attacks against the singer in a Truth Social video.

The live album features songs and spoken interludes from Springsteen’s set in Manchester last week, including a speech slamming Trump as “treasonous,” “corrupt” and “authoritarian.” In one track, Springsteen urges those who “believe in democracy and the best of our American experience to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring.”

Trump has long been critical of Springsteen, whom he called a “threat to democracy” during his first term. The feud between the two began when Springsteen criticized Trump’s administration on stage last week in Manchester.

Springsteen has stumped for Democratic presidential candidates for decades, appearing at rallies for John Kerry, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, among others. His music is known for uplifting the working class, and he has repeatedly clashed with Trump over politics and policy.

The feud between Springsteen and Trump has also extended to other celebrities, including Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, whom both singers have criticized on social media by Trump. Despite the heated exchange, no one has been targeted with an official investigation by Trump into their endorsement of Harris.
