Rock icon Bruce Springsteen has shared his thoughts on the upcoming biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere, which stars Jeremy Allen White as Springsteen in 1982. The musician revealed that he chose not to be overly involved in the production due to scenes that were “deeply personal” but wanted to ensure the actors felt comfortable. Springsteen praised lead actor White for being “very tolerant” of his on-set presence.
The biopic, set to release on October 24, also stars Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Marc Maron, and Stephen Graham. When asked if he would perform his album Nebraska straight through at a live show to promote the movie’s release, Springsteen said it’s “not off the table” but doesn’t guarantee an immediate decision.
