Bucks Head to Las Vegas After Thrilling Win Over Magic

The Milwaukee Bucks are advancing to the NBA Cup semifinals for the second consecutive season after beating the Orlando Magic 114-109 in Tuesday’s game. The team will return to Las Vegas, where they lost last December. Giannis Antetokounmpo said the team has “unfinished business” from last season and learned from their defeat.

The Bucks’ star player scored 37 points, with Damian Lillard adding 28 points in the final minute of the game. Jalen Suggs led a shorthanded Magic team to a near upset but missed a go-ahead three-pointer with 12 seconds left.

Bucks forward Bobby Portis praised his team’s journey from their slow start to their current success, saying “we’re only two games over .500” and that he likes the direction they are heading. Coach Doc Rivers set the goal of winning the NBA Cup as a target to help pull himself out of an early-season slump.

The Bucks will face the winner of Wednesday’s quarterfinal between the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
