A US judge has dismissed a civil lawsuit against BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff, alleging sexual assault and battery, bringing an end to a highly publicized case. The lawsuit, filed by an anonymous woman known as “Jane Doe A.G.”, was dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be brought again. According to sources, the lawsuit will allow Retzlaff to transfer to another college football program, potentially joining a top 10-ranked team. Earlier this month, Retzlaff faced a seven-game suspension from BYU for violating its honor code.
