BYU’s 2025-26 Big 12 Scheduling Matrix Released

BYU has received its Big 12 scheduling matrix for the upcoming season. The Cougars will face only three teams at both home and on the road, with Utah, Texas Tech, and Arizona being their conference opponents.

Under a new 18-game conference schedule, BYU’s home games are against Arizona State, Colorado, Houston, Iowa State, TCU, UCF, Baylor, Cincinnati, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, West Virginia. Their away games will be at the aforementioned teams’ venues.

BYU’s three home and away matchups feature challenging opponents: Texas Tech, which reached the Elite Eight this past season, Arizona, ranked No. 15, with a top-ranked recruiting class, and Utah under new head coach Alex Jensen. The Cougars also welcome back Houston after their national championship run and will face Iowa State again.

Former Cougar Tanner Toolson will lead TCU as BYU’s opponents return to Provo. However, the Cougars’ remaining three home games are against teams that finished in the bottom quarter of the conference standings. Their road schedule includes first-time visits to Baylor, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State, while also returning to Cincinnati and West Virginia.

With a revised 18-game conference schedule, BYU is looking forward to its Big 12 matchups, featuring highly competitive opponents from Texas Tech to Arizona to Utah.
