CA AG Launches Investigation into Newport Beach Officer-Involved Shooting

California Attorney General Rob Bonta has announced an investigation into an officer-involved shooting in Newport Beach that resulted in the death of one individual. The California Department of Justice is reviewing the incident under Assembly Bill 1506, a state law requiring independent reviews of such incidents.
