Cadillac Dismisses Christian Horner Hiring Rumors

The new Cadillac Formula 1 team has strongly denied reports that it was considering hiring fired Red Bull team principal Christian Horner. The dismissal came after a 20-year stint with Red Bull, where Horner led the team to eight F1 drivers’ titles and six constructors’ titles.

Horner’s sudden departure from Red Bull followed the British Grand Prix last month, leaving fans wondering about his future plans. However, Cadillac CEO Dan Towriss has put an end to speculation by stating that there were no talks with Horner and no plans to hire him.

Towriss praised team principal Graeme Lowdon, saying the support backing for Lowdon is 100%. The move comes as Red Bull’s performance dips behind McLaren this season. Despite Verstappen remaining third in the standings, the team has struggled to regain its momentum.
