A fast-moving fire in the Los Angeles area has burned over 15,000 acres. The blaze forced the closure of Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk due to extreme winds and fire conditions. However, Disneyland remains open for now. Guests can check the official app for updates.
Another fire, the Eaton Fire, broke out in Altadena, California, while a third fire is spreading northeast of San Fernando, burning at least 700 acres. The safety of guests and team members is top priority for Universal Studios, which plans to reopen on Thursday. Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia also closed due to high winds. Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park has not announced any closures or delays.
