Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Details Emerge from Study Group Leak

Details about Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 have been shared by a playtester who claims to be part of a recent study group. The leak, reported on Reddit, provides new insights into the game’s story, multiplayer, and zombies modes.

According to the playtester, the game is set in 2035 and serves as a sequel to Black Ops 2. Story mode will feature co-op play for up to four players and includes a large open world map called “Avalon.” Omni movement with wall running is also expected to return.

The zombies mode is set to include the original crew, but with variations in a multiverse setting. A Tranzit remake and round-based gameplay are also confirmed. Additional features will include a difficulty toggle, wonder vehicles, and a more story-focused role.

Multiplayer will feature a 32-player mode, remakes of popular maps in a futuristic Japanese style, and a progression level system for items like grenades, killstreaks, and perks. Progression will carry over from Black Ops 6.

However, the playtester’s claims took an unexpected turn when they mentioned a possible Prototype game set in New York with Alex Mercer as the protagonist, featuring shapeshifting gameplay. While this is not directly related to Black Ops 7, it sparked curiosity among fans.

The authenticity of these claims remains unverified, and further details are needed for confirmation.
