Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Release Confirmed for 2035

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been officially confirmed, marking a new era in the series. Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, this is the first-ever consecutive release within the series, set more than 40 years after the events of Black Ops 6. The game takes place in 2035, where players will face chaos and violent conflict as David Mason’s team fights against a manipulative enemy who uses fear to their advantage.

The game features a thrilling Co-op Campaign, innovative Multiplayer modes with new maps, and a revamped Round-Based Zombies experience set in the Dark Aether. According to Call of Duty’s General Manager, Matt Cox, the studio’s vision is to create a back-to-back series experience that showcases the unique storytelling and gameplay of the Black Ops sub-franchise.

The release window for Black Ops 7 has been shrouded in mystery until now, but it’s confirmed to be later this year. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Xbox PC, Battle.net, and Steam. Players can also expect to play on day one with Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass.

A new teaser has been released, setting the tone for players to “embrace the madness” that’s coming with Black Ops 7’s story. The full reveal will be made later this summer, with more surprises and teases to come.
