Caltrans Closes Highway 180 in Fresno Area for Repairs

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct landscaping and pavement repairs on Highway 180 in the Fresno area, resulting in scheduled closures and two-way traffic controls. The work is expected to take place between 8:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

On Monday, the westbound Highway 180 Park and Ride at McCall Avenue will be closed for landscaping operations. On Tuesday, two-way traffic control will be in effect between the Friant Canal and Alta Avenue for pavement repairs. The same area will be controlled on Wednesday and Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Caltrans advises commuters to follow flagging personnel, watch out for road construction vehicles, and allow extra time for travel due to potential delays. Weather conditions may cause the scheduled operations to be extended or changed.
