Rober tested Tesla’s Autopilot by overlaying images of roads with fake tunnels onto a camera view. He achieved impressive results, allowing the system to “barrel through” an image of a wall covered in road beyond it. This feat was reminiscent of Looney Tunes’ Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner cartoons.
Rober also used LiDAR technology to map Disney’s pitch-black Space Mountain coaster. His innovative work showcases his ability to use various technologies to expose vulnerabilities in complex systems.
